Innovative garden project at Romanian Parliament

27 October 2020

The cluster has become involved in a project aimed at urban regeneration and the perpetuation of collective memory. An innovative garden project at the Romanian Parliament is being implemented with support of the PIB ULR members to demonstrate creative and sustainable solutions for activating urban landscapes. The team met online to discuss the best options for trees, shrubs, grasses as well as mixes of bulbs and perennials to underline the symbolic value of the project. Jub Holland will create a special tulip named URANUS after an old neighbourhood demolished in the 1980s. A planting event is scheduled to take place in November 2020, the official inauguration of the garden will take place in Spring 2021.
